Wayyiqtol III-ה: All three stems apocopate — the ה is dropped. Distinguish by prefix: Qal: וַיִּ– (Hireq + Dagesh in yod) · Piel: וַיְ– (Shewa) · Hithpael: וַיִּתְ–
Watch: Piel הִלֵּל begins with הִ– — looks like Hiphil. But there is no ת after הִ, and the Dagesh is in R2 (לּ) with Tsere → Piel, not Hiphil or Hithpael.
