| Exercise: Aorist and Future Passive Parsing Drill |
Twenty aorist passive and future passive indicative forms drawn from GNT vocabulary. Students parse each form (tense, voice, mood, person, number), identify the lexical form, and translate. Selected items practice recognizing the θη formant, the future passive θησ+middle endings pattern, and deponent passives. |
| Aorist and Future Passive Formation Drill |
A 20-item formation drill presenting a mix of aorist passive and future passive indicative forms. Students classify each form as aorist passive or future passive, parse person and number, supply the lexical form, and translate. The exercise includes 10 aorist passives and 10 future passives, with particular attention to verbs with irregular passive stems (ἐγείρω, λαμβάνω, ἀποστέλλω, εὑρίσκω). Paired items (e.g., #13/#14, #15/#16, #17/#18) isolate the single morphological feature distinguishing the two tenses. An answer key is embedded in all three formats. |
