Ch7 Adjective Usage Drill

Chapter 7 — Hebrew Adjectives

Full Screen (Interactive) Print / PDF Markdown

Students examine 25 Hebrew noun-adjective phrases and identify: (1) the type of adjective use (Attributive Definite / Attributive Indefinite / Predicate / Substantival / Comparative / Superlative), (2) the adjective form, (3) gender and number agreement, and (4) an English translation. The exercise builds the key diagnostic skill of BBH Chapter 7: distinguishing attributive from predicate use by the presence or absence of the article on the adjective.
